PROFESSor Megan crawford
Professor Megan Crawford is Director of the Plymouth Institute of Education, and Professor of Educational Leadership and Professional Learning. She works both in Devon and Buckinghamshire where her home is.  Her career has developed from primary schools, where she was a Deputy Headteacher to HE teaching. Her particular teaching expertise is Postgraduate programmes, and in particular the needs of the part time student.
She has been a governor of six schools, and set up three new primary and one new secondary schools in Milton Keynes. She is currently Chair of the Board at KET.
 
In 2009, Megan was governor of the year for the East of England, and has been a National Leader of Governance. She has worked on many research projects for the DfE and the National College and on many aspects of leadership in schools, including moving from Deputy to Head, and managing performance.
 
She has written over 50 articles on both practice and theory. Her first book, Getting to the heart of leadership’ was published in 2009 and her most recent book, ‘ Developing as an Educational Leader and Manager’ was published by Sage in September 2014.
Mr Tony holland
Originally starting as a parent governor at Middleton Primary School (MPS), Tony has spent the last four years working with the governing body, overseeing the goals, objectives, progress and results of the school, working to ensure that the school provides the best education and environment for children to learn and progress. He has been subject link governor for curriculum subjects, including Science, Art and Music, regularly reviewing these subjects with the subject leader from the school to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the subjects being taught. He is also the chair for two committees at the Local Governing Body level (LGB).
Tony was an active member of the Middleton LGB during the school’s initial conversion to an academy. Subsequently he has been appointed as a director of the Multi Academy Trust assisting through the school’s transition to the Kingsbridge Educational Trust.
Tony brings with him experience as a previous director of a management company, the position which he held for five years and 20+ years as a Consultant for a large international technology company, where he currently tries to create harmony between world-wide standards, industry and with UK and EU governmental policy and regulation.
Mr mike taylor
Mike works for a software company as a business consultant providing services to the retail industry.  He moved to Milton Keynes in 1991 to work for a local retailer and to Middleton in 2001.  He has four children who have all been educated at Middleton and Oakgrove schools.  Mike has been a governor at Oakgrove School since its inception and became a director of KET in 2016. 
 
He is passionate about and strongly supports the role that the school has in preparing the next generation for life beyond school, chairing the Outcomes & Curriculum Committee at Oakgrove School and meeting regularly with the Careers team at Oakgrove.
